The Club has opened an education trust that aims to support high achievers from poor families with tertiary education in the fields of SET and commerce through the Pax Reunion Club 86 Education Trust Fund.

Celebrating the success of the first bursary recipient of PAX Reunion Club 86 Education Trust

On Sunday the 20th January 2013 the Pax Reunion Club 86 and its education trust met to congratulate Mr Kagiso Komape on having achieved exceptional results in his matric results for 2012 and also of being the Club’s first recipient of its bursary.  The Pax Reunion Club 86 bursaries is primarily aimed at assisting deserving students, high academic fliers, to register at their preferred institution of learning who are from a disadvantaged background.  Kagiso from a small village of Mamadila in Moletji outside Limpopo’s provincial capital studied at Pax High School where he obtained an average of above 80% in all his subjects.  He will be studying at the University of Johannesburg for a Mechanical Engineering degree.  The Club believe, and hopes, that by assisting Kagiso with registration will open a way to access bursaries and student assistance for the university bursary office.  The Club further promised to assist him in applying for student bursaries from other businesses through its networks.  Kagiso was accompanied by Mrs Madiba, her aunt on this great occasion, who thanked the club and members who were present on the way the Club is assisting the family.
